Walking into a new church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. Where do I park? What should I wear? Where do my children go? What will the service be like?
We want your first visit to feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible, so here's a little of what you can expect when you arrive.
When We Meet
Sunday School · 9:45 AM
Sunday School is available for all ages, from children through adults. It's a time to open God's Word together, ask questions, learn, and enjoy fellowship with one another.
Sunday Morning Worship · 11:00 AM
Our Sunday morning service is centered on Christ through worship and the faithful preaching of God's Word.
Sunday Evening Worship · 6:30 PM
Join us again Sunday evening for worship, prayer, and continued teaching from Scripture.
Wednesday Ministries · 6:30 PM
Wednesday evenings offer ministries for children, teens, and adults as we gather midweek to study, pray, and grow together.
What to Expect
When You Arrive
You'll find plenty of parking in both the front and rear of our church building. Come on in—we'll be glad to see you and are happy to help you find where you need to go.
Our Worship Services
Our services are centered on exalting Jesus Christ and faithfully teaching the Word of God. You'll find heartfelt worship, biblical preaching, and a church family gathered with the desire to know Christ and honor Him.
Families & Children
A nursery is available for infants through age four during all services, providing a safe, clean, and caring environment for your little ones. Our children's teachers and volunteers have completed the required clearances for your peace of mind.
During Sunday School, we also offer age-appropriate classes where children can learn the truths of God's Word in a way they can understand and enjoy.
What Should I Wear?
You'll see a little bit of everything at First Baptist Church of Galeton. Some come dressed casually and others prefer more traditional Sunday attire. There's no dress code, we simply want you to come and worship with us.
